The Telangana Cabinet, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, has approved a job calendar aimed at filling approximately 200,000 government positions, addressing long-standing demands from unemployed youth and students. The job calendar will be formally introduced in the Assembly on August 2, accompanied by a bill to provide legal backing. Alongside this, the Cabinet has formed a sub-committee to issue white ration cards and Arogya Sri cards for eligible individuals. Other key decisions include the revival of the Nizam Sugar Factory and the allocation of 15 TMC of water from the Godavari River to enhance drinking water supplies in Hyderabad. The Cabinet also expressed condolences for the landslide victims in Kerala and has reaffirmed commitments to various social welfare initiatives. The meeting underscores the government’s focus on fulfilling electoral promises and addressing public grievances.
