2025 Africa Cup of Nations Teams Confirmed

The CAF has announced the draw procedure for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2024, scheduled for November 22, 2024, in Morocco. The tournament will feature 12 teams, divided into three groups of four, with Morocco hosting and automatically positioned in Group A. The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will also take place in Morocco, starting December 21, 2025, featuring 24 teams, including notable absentees like Ghana. The qualifiers saw Mozambique secure the last spot, while teams like Senegal, Algeria, and defending champions Côte d'Ivoire also qualified.
