Riddle, who has had previous unsettling experiences with Airbnb, emphasized the dangers associated with such rentals, advising travelers—especially women—to opt for hotels instead. She reflected on her past Airbnb incidents, including a terrifying experience in 2017 and a robbery this summer, reiterating that Airbnb properties can be intentionally targeted.
