Georgia Air Force Veteran Dies Paragliding Accident Ohio
Timothy A. Williams, a 35-year-old veteran and aviation enthusiast from Byron, Georgia, died in a paragliding accident in Scioto County, Ohio. The crash occurred near Earl Thomas Conley Park around 9:35 a.m. when his paraglider fell from the sky and a strap reportedly got tangled in the engine, causing the accident. Williams was a retired Air Force master sergeant and a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, who was deeply mourned by his friends and fellow aviators. Authorities, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol, are investigating the cause of the crash. Multiple agencies responded to the incident, but no other injuries were reported. Memorial details for Williams have yet to be announced.
