Bouncer Medard Keene Arrested for Sexual Battery

Medard 'Ned' Keene, a 48-year-old bouncer from New Smyrna Beach, has been arrested on charges of sexual battery following the discovery of multiple videos on his cellphones depicting explicit sexual abuse of women. The investigation commenced when an acquaintance reported finding these videos, which show women, all believed to be over 18, being recorded and touched without consent. One particularly egregious video from June 2020 shows an unconscious woman being assaulted, and that victim has since been identified and is cooperating with authorities. Police suspect there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Keene is currently in custody without bond, and further charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
