The Miami Heat will honor NBA legend Dwyane Wade with a bronze statue outside the Kaseya Center, unveiled on October 27, 2024. The statue, created by Omri Amrany and Oscar León of Rotblatt Amrany Studio, will be celebrated with a two-day event. On October 28, Wade will address fans during halftime of the Heat's game against the Detroit Pistons, with video tributes planned. Wade, a three-time NBA champion and 13-time All-Star, spent 15 of his 16 NBA seasons with the Heat and is a Hall of Fame inductee. The event will feature performances by local hip-hop legend Rick Ross and emerging artist Nino Breeze. Tickets for the free event will be available starting September 30, with limited capacity.
