UAE Launches Entrepreneurship Program to Train 10,000 Emiratis Across DIFC Platform

The UAE has launched two significant initiatives to boost national talent and entrepreneurship. The Entrepreneurship Programme, supported by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, the New Economy Academy, and DIFC's Ignyte platform, aims to train 10,000 Emiratis through courses designed to equip them with skills to launch scalable ventures and contribute to a diversified, knowledge-based economy. This program is part of the national campaign “The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World,” which seeks to empower Emirati youth and enhance the country's global leadership in entrepreneurship. Separately, Dubai's Government Human Resources Department, in partnership with Emirates NBD and ESCP Business School, launched the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Program to develop 29 Emirati financial leaders equipped with strategic leadership and financial expertise. This five-month intensive program supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) goals to double the economy's size and strengthen Dubai's position as a global hub for finance and innovation. Both initiatives highlight strong public-private collaboration and the UAE's commitment to building a sustainable, knowledge-driven economy with empowered national leaders.
