Gosder Cherilus Arrested for In-Flight Assault

Former NFL player Gosder Cherilus, 40, has been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and other offenses after allegedly urinating on a 78-year-old woman during a Delta Air Lines flight from Boston to Dublin. Reports indicate that Cherilus, who appeared intoxicated upon boarding, argued with flight crew before the incident, which led to the flight being rerouted back to Logan International Airport. Following the incident, he also allegedly hit another passenger and took their seat before passing out. During his arraignment, Judge Debra A. DelVecchio described the allegations as 'pretty egregious' and imposed conditions for his release, including maintaining sobriety and staying away from the alleged victims. A federal investigation is now underway, and Cherilus is scheduled to appear in court again on October 11. Delta Airlines stated they have a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior and will cooperate with law enforcement.
