Nick Mangold, a legendary center for the New York Jets and a seven-time Pro Bowler, passed away at age 41 due to complications from chronic kidney disease, a condition he had battled for nearly two decades. Diagnosed with a genetic defect in 2006, Mangold had publicly sought a kidney donor but ultimately succumbed to the illness in October 2025. Beyond his football legacy, Mangold was celebrated as a devoted husband to Jennifer Richmond and a loving father to their four children.
