Backstreet Boy Sues Florida Sheriff Over Private Beach Trespassing

Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys has filed a lawsuit against the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, accusing them of failing to prevent the public from trespassing on his private beachfront property, which he owns through BLB Beach Hut, LLC. Despite Littrell's efforts to mark the land with “No Trespassing” signs and hiring private security, numerous trespassers have continued to enter and harass his family, with incidents reported on May 4 and June 5. Littrell’s legal filing claims the sheriff’s office has neglected its duty to enforce his property rights, including ignoring calls for assistance and displaying an apparent bias against private beach ownership. The suit also alleges disrespectful behavior from responding officers and cites specific instances where trespassers committed theft and battery on the property. The Littrell family’s confrontation with beachgoers has been publicly documented, including a viral TikTok video showing disputes over the high tide line. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office has declined to comment on the pending litigation.
