Trump Reviews Jon Voight's Hollywood Production Proposal

Trump, who has expressed concern over American film jobs moving overseas, publicly floated a 100% tariff on foreign-made films, but later signaled the administration is considering a broader set of incentives and policies. Voight emphasized that the plan is meant to help keep productions—and jobs—in the U.S., with input from industry leaders and support from the administration, unions, and studios. The proposal is currently under review by Trump and his advisors, with no final decisions yet announced. While Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone were also named as Hollywood ambassadors, reports indicate they were not directly involved in Voight's plan.
