LTTS Opens ITAR-Compliant Engineering Center, Plans 350 Texas Tech Jobs
L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has inaugurated a new $2 million Engineering Design Center in Plano, Texas, marking a significant expansion of its U.S. operations focused on advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, digital manufacturing, cybersecurity, and defense systems. The ITAR-compliant facility is designed to handle sensitive defense-related projects, including product design, development, and testing, and features a dedicated Security Operations Center to support smart city technologies. Initially staffed with 100 engineers, the center plans to grow to over 350 highly skilled jobs, emphasizing sectors like Mobility and Technology, with nearly half of the space dedicated to defense work. Texas leaders, including U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and Plano Mayor John B. Muns, praised the center as a milestone for innovation, job creation, and strengthening Texas' position as a technology hub. LTTS President Alind Saxena highlighted the strategic importance of the U.S. market, especially Texas’s favorable policies, talent ecosystem, and government incentives that support the company's growth and collaboration with local partners. The launch featured demonstrations of cutting-edge solutions such as the Factory of the Future digital manufacturing platform, AI-driven imaging for medical procedures, and smart city analytics, underscoring LTTS’s leadership in technology innovation.
