Laurene Powell Jobs' Yacht Collides with Salinas' Vessel

Laurene Powell Jobs' superyacht, Venus, was involved in a minor collision with another luxury vessel, Lady Moura, owned by Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego, off the coast of Naples due to a sudden wind change. The incident occurred on July 22 when both yachts were anchored, with Venus drifting into Lady Moura, causing a noticeable scratch. Salinas expressed frustration on social media, questioning the crew's awareness and jokingly suggested that his followers buy Apple products to help cover the repair costs. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as only crew members were aboard Venus at the time. Both yacht crews discussed the necessary minor repairs post-collision, and while the incident was captured on video, it appears to have caused no significant damage aside from the visible scratch. Venus, designed by Philippe Starck, was commissioned by Steve Jobs and launched in 2012, a year after his death.
