'The Best Man' Trilogy Launches with 'Unfinished Business' in July 2025

The beloved franchise 'The Best Man' will continue its legacy in book form, with the first installment titled 'The Best Man: Unfinished Business' set to release on July 1, 2025. Created by filmmaker Malcolm D. Lee and co-authored with Jayne Allen, this trilogy will follow characters Harper, Jordan, and Robyn as they navigate their lives after the 2022 Peacock series, exploring themes of love and relationships. Lee expressed excitement over expanding the characters' stories through novels, stating that the series allows for deeper exploration of their inner worlds. The trilogy aims to introduce these beloved characters to new audiences while delighting long-time fans. Two additional books are planned for release in 2026. This continuation builds upon the franchise's rich history, which began with the original film in 1999 and included a sequel and a mini-series.
