Ten arrested in Cambridgeshire hare coursing investigation

Cambridgeshire Police have made four additional arrests in connection with an ongoing investigation into hare coursing and related violent disorder that has affected various areas including Fenland. The latest arrests involve a 44-year-old man from Horton, two men aged 19 and 44 from Datchet, and a 28-year-old from Winkfield, all suspected of attending a hare coursing event. This brings the total number of arrests to ten following widespread complaints of criminal damage and dangerous driving on January 25. The police have also seized several vehicles and equipment associated with hare coursing during the investigation. Superintendent Ben Martin reassured the community that the police are committed to pursuing those responsible for these crimes. The previously arrested individuals have been released on bail with specific conditions pending further investigation.
