The driver was initially taken to an Ely hospital and then airlifted to a hospital in Duluth for further treatment. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the accident, with other emergency responders assisting at the scene. The current condition of the driver remains unknown, and authorities have not yet released the driver's identity.
