This ban includes two matches for a red card incident and one match triggered from a suspended ban from last season. Additionally, Morgan Gibbs-White was given a one-match suspension and fined £20,000 for his improper conduct following his own dismissal for a second yellow card in the same game. Brighton's head coach, Fabian Hurzeler, was also fined £8,000 for his actions during the match. The incidents, particularly in the 83rd minute, drew significant criticism and scrutiny regarding officiating decisions, with Forest expressing discontent over the referee's calls.
