Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming Dil-Luminati Tour has sparked controversy over ticket pricing and manipulation allegations. Fans criticized the steep ticket prices, which ranged from Rs 1,400 to Rs 19,999, and a law student named Riddhima Kapoor has sent a legal notice claiming the ticket sales process was manipulated, creating artificial demand that inflated prices. Kapoor alleges that tickets were made available one minute early, leading to quick sell-outs and accusations of scalping and unfair trade practices, which she argues violate consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act. The notice has been sent to Diljit as well as other parties involved, including Zomato and HDFC Bank, but they have yet to respond. While some fans argue that such high prices are unjust, others defend the notion that artists should be compensated for their talent. The tour is set to start on October 26, 2024, in Delhi and will span multiple cities in India.
