Auriemma's tenure has transformed UConn into a dominant force in women's basketball, and he has signed a five-year extension, indicating his intent to continue building on this legacy. The Huskies, currently ranked No. 2, will seek Auriemma's 1,218th win against Oregon State next week. Auriemma's record stands out as only three Division I coaches have reached 1,200 wins, with the other two now retired.
