Kentucky Woman Arrested Bringing Meth into Disney World

Brandi Asher, a 37-year-old woman from London, Kentucky, was arrested in May 2025 for allegedly attempting to bring methamphetamine into Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Disney security found a small metal tin in her bag containing meth and a hollow cylinder-shaped tube used to snort the drug during a security check at the Transportation & Ticket Center. Asher claimed she forgot the drugs were in her bag after a stranger at her nearby hotel, Westgate Resort, gave them to her, and she thought she had left the meth in her hotel room. She told security the substance was headache medicine, but a field test confirmed it was methamphetamine. Asher pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony charge in June and was reportedly honest with police about the circumstances leading to her possession of the drug. The incident was widely reported after the arrest report was made public months later.
