Teenagers Seriously Injured in Separate E-Bike Crashes in Dundee, Leyland

Two serious incidents involving electric bikes have occurred recently in the UK. In Dundee, a 17-year-old boy was seriously injured in a collision with a car at the junction of Blackness Road and Elliot Road, though the e-bike rider and car occupants were uninjured, and the road was closed for six hours. Separately, in Leyland, a 14-year-old girl suffered serious injuries after being struck by an e-bike while walking along Moss Lane. Initially thought to be minor, her injuries are now considered significant, and she is hospitalized. The e-bike involved was seized, and the rider, an UberEats delivery person, has been reported for multiple driving offenses. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage of the Leyland incident to come forward to aid the investigation.
