The Los Angeles Dodgers are currently viewed as the frontrunners to sign Sasaki, with other teams like the San Diego Padres and Toronto Blue Jays also in contention. Sasaki, 23, posted impressive stats during his time with the Chiba Lotte Marines, making him a highly sought-after free agent as the international signing period opens. His official signing decision is expected shortly after the period commences on January 17, 2025.
