Parton's donations will be directed to the Mountain Ways Foundation, which is coordinating relief efforts in East Tennessee and surrounding areas. In addition to her financial contributions, Dollywood has already provided substantial aid, including millions of masks and a semi-truck full of water for distribution. Walmart also announced a significant increase in its own pledge for relief efforts, raising its commitment to $10 million. Parton’s heartfelt performance of a remixed version of her song “Jolene,” now featuring the name “Helene,” added a personal touch to the event.
