An Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon crashed during Exercise Pitch Black 2024, a major multinational military training event taking place in the Northern Territory of Australia. The pilot successfully ejected and was airlifted to the Royal Darwin Hospital for medical checks, where he was reported to be in good health.
