NYPD Releases Photos of Suspect in Fatal Bronx Fordham Shooting

The NYPD has released new images of the suspect wanted for a fatal shooting that occurred in the Fordham section of the Bronx on May 18 or 19, resulting in the death of 57-year-old Kevin Jennings and the injury of a 34-year-old woman. The suspect, seen wearing a hooded camouflage sweatshirt and holding a cellphone, allegedly fired multiple shots, striking Jennings in the head and the woman in the leg; both victims were innocent bystanders not involved in the initial conflict. Jennings was pronounced dead at Saint Barnabas Hospital, while the woman is expected to recover despite a bullet remaining lodged in her leg. Authorities have urged anyone with information to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline. The shooting took place near East 188th Street and Webster Avenue, and police continue to seek leads to apprehend the gunman. Additional incidents involving violent attacks in the Bronx, such as an assault on an off-duty NYPD officer, have also been reported but are separate from this case.
