Mirvan Dinler, a 26-year-old Uber driver from Trappe, Pennsylvania, has been charged with the rape and sexual assault of a Villanova University student in her dorm after picking her up from a Philadelphia nightclub. The victim, who had been drinking and skipped dinner, reported waking up to find Dinler on top of her. After the assault, Dinler returned to the dorm, claiming he needed to collect a fee for a mess in his car, and used the victim's phone to send $150 via Venmo to another account. Dinler was arrested and is being held on $250,000 bail, with charges including rape, sexual assault, and indecent assault. Uber has banned Dinler and is cooperating with law enforcement, while Villanova University has also banned him from campus. The investigation is ongoing with the Delaware County District Attorney's Office and Radnor Township Police leading the case.
