Ball State Tops Buffalo 80-66, Secures Season Sweep

On Saturday, Ball State men's basketball team secured an 80-66 victory over Buffalo while honoring the 1999-2000 Mid-American Conference Championship team during halftime. Payton Sparks led the Cardinals with 18 points, while Ben Hendriks and Mickey Pearson Jr. each contributed 14 points. The Cardinals took control early, leading by as much as 14 points in the first half and maintaining the lead throughout the game. Despite a late surge from Buffalo, Ball State closed out the game with a nine-point run to secure the win. This victory also marked the season sweep over Buffalo, following a previous win of 89-76 earlier in the month. Ball State's next challenge will be against league-leading Akron on Tuesday night.
