Multiple Fatalities Follow Motorcycle Collisions in Fresno Area

A motorcyclist in his early 20s died after colliding with a pickup truck in central Fresno on Friday night. The crash occurred at Maroa and Fedora avenues around 9:30 p.m., resulting in the motorcyclist and his vehicle ending up submerged in a nearby canal. Emergency responders pulled the man from the water and transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The woman driving the pickup truck was unharmed and is cooperating with the ongoing police investigation, which is examining whether speed or alcohol contributed to the incident.
