Raleigh Woman Found Safe in Tennessee After Ashanti Alert; Suspect in Custody
An Ashanti Alert was issued early Saturday morning for 30-year-old Selma Rodas Vicente, who was believed to have been abducted from an apartment on Windy Hill Drive in Raleigh, North Carolina. Authorities indicated Vicente may have been in physical danger and was possibly with 27-year-old Ismael De Jesus Niz-Miguel, who was driving a black 2013 Honda Pilot with North Carolina license tag LJW7781. Police were called to the scene around 3 a.m. after finding evidence suggesting an abduction. Vicente was later found safe in Tennessee with the suspect, who is now in custody and facing pending charges related to the incident. The Ashanti Alert was subsequently canceled following Vicente's safe recovery. Authorities continue to encourage the public to report any relevant information to Raleigh Police.
