Ezra Mam Charged with Drug Driving in Bardon

Brisbane Broncos star Ezra Mam has been charged with drug driving and driving without a licence following an accident in Brisbane's Bardon suburb on October 18, where his vehicle collided head-on with an Uber, injuring a mother and her four-year-old daughter. Mam allegedly tested positive for drugs in both roadside and subsequent hospital tests. Despite the charges, new Broncos coach Michael Maguire has stated that Mam will not be sacked, though he is expected to face suspension from the NRL. Mam has expressed remorse and has checked into a rehabilitation facility.
