Norwich Cadet Daniel Bermudez Dies in Training

Cadet Daniel Bermudez, a freshman from Connecticut and member of the Class of 2028 at Norwich University in Vermont, tragically died after collapsing during routine training exercises. The incident occurred on Wednesday, and despite CPR attempts and being transported to Central Vermont Medical Center, Bermudez was pronounced dead. Police Chief Pierre Gomez confirmed that there is no suspicion of foul play, and an autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.
