AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné has highlighted the next major milestone for AEW's women's division: main eventing a pay-per-view. Reflecting on her match against AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm at All In: Texas, Moné called it the "greatest women’s match in AEW history" and a career highlight, emphasizing its impact on perceptions of women's wrestling within AEW. Despite Storm retaining the title, Moné believes that match opened eyes to the capabilities of AEW’s women wrestlers and set the stage for women to close out future pay-per-view events. Moné expressed confidence that AEW is close to this breakthrough and hopes her rematch with Storm will headline an upcoming pay-per-view.
