Comedian Perry Kurtz Killed in Hit-and-Run

Comedian Perry Kurtz, known for his appearances on 'America's Got Talent' and 'The Late Late Show with James Corden,' was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident in Tarzana, California, on Thursday night. Kurtz, 73, was struck by a gray Honda Civic driven by 18-year-old Nathon Jaimes while crossing Ventura Boulevard. Jaimes was arrested at his home on suspicion of felony hit-and-run causing death and released on a $30,000 bond. Kurtz was pronounced dead at the scene, and his death has deeply affected the Los Angeles comedy community. His daughter has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral expenses.
