Firetruck Rollover Injures Two Firefighters in Alabama

On October 18, 2024, a fire department vehicle in Hong Kong collided with two taxis, injuring the firefighter driving the van, who was taken to Queen Mary Hospital for neck injuries. Separately, two firefighters from Summit Fire and Rescue in Blount County, Alabama were injured when their firetruck overturned on Highway 231. One firefighter sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized, while the other suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Both incidents highlight the risks faced by emergency responders in the line of duty. The Blountsville and Brooksville Fire Departments assisted at the scene of the truck accident.
