Decomposed Body Found on 101 Freeway in LA

Authorities are investigating after a decomposed body was discovered around 1:20 a.m. Monday on the southbound 101 Freeway near Highland Avenue and Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) was notified by the Los Angeles Fire Department about the body, which was found tucked near a light pole and between concrete pillars. The identity of the deceased, as well as the gender and age, have not been disclosed, and it remains unclear how the individual died. Investigators are soliciting information from the public to assist in identifying the body and understanding the circumstances of the death.
