Prime Video’s 'We Were Liars' Out June 18

Prime Video will release all eight episodes of 'We Were Liars,' a psychological mystery thriller series adapted from E. Lockhart's bestselling novel, on June 18, 2025. The story follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind) as she returns to her family's private New England island to recover memories lost after a mysterious accident. As Cadence seeks the truth, tensions and secrets among her wealthy family and close friends—the 'Liars'—come to light. The cast includes Shubham Maheshwari, Esther McGregor, Joseph Zada, Caitlin FitzGerald, Mamie Gummer, and Candice King. Julie Plec and Carina Adly MacKenzie serve as showrunners for the series. The show is produced by Universal Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
