Five 15-Year-Old Boys Arrested for Fatal Alton House Fire

Five teenage boys, all aged 15 and from Alton, have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal house fire that killed elderly couple Stan Rickman, 91, and Roma Rickman, 88, at their home in Heron Close, Alton, Hampshire. Four of the boys were arrested recently, while a fifth, previously arrested and bailed, was re-arrested on the same charge; all five remain in custody or have been conditionally bailed as investigations continue. Additionally, a 16-year-old boy from Alton and a 32-year-old man from Aldershot were arrested earlier on suspicion of murder but are currently out on bail under strict conditions. Another 15-year-old from Bordon was arrested but later released without further action. Police are appealing to the public for any information, especially reports of suspicious behavior or relevant CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from midnight to 5 a.m. on April 14, to assist with the ongoing investigation.
