The altercation occurred as Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was attempting a two-point conversion, during which Brown pulled Lattimore's helmet off by the facemask. Although Lattimore was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the field, he did not receive a fine. Brown later explained that he felt provoked by Lattimore's actions. The incident was overshadowed by the Eagles' commanding 55-23 victory, which propelled them to the Super Bowl. Despite the fine, Brown's financial penalty is minor compared to his upcoming earnings of $1.1 million in base salary and $10.7 million in bonuses for 2024.
