Despite the substantial financial offer, LaPaglia refused the settlement, stating she did not want to conceal her experiences. The breakup became public after Bryan announced it on Instagram, which LaPaglia described as blindsiding. Following the allegations, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, LaPaglia's podcast co-host, released a diss track criticizing Bryan, which was later removed for copyright issues. Bryan and his representatives have not publicly addressed the allegations.
