UK Youth, Community, Rock Choirs Perform Major National Festivals

Several choirs across the UK are participating in notable performances and festivals this summer. The Farnham Youth Choir from Surrey will perform with the National Youth Orchestra at the sold-out BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. Kerry Sings, a diverse local choir from Powys ranging in age from five to over 60, is preparing for two upcoming gigs including a major festival stage performance. Meanwhile, the King’s Lynn and Peterborough Rock Choir members delivered a highly praised show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, marking their sixth consecutive year there with sell-out performances of pop and rock hits. Additionally, the Rock Festival Choir from Alnwick is set to perform a free choral concert at St Giles Cathedral during the Edinburgh Fringe, featuring both classical and contemporary pieces. In the U.S., the Auburn Community Chorus will hold its second annual free concert, encouraging community engagement at a local automobile museum.
