Oregon, Gonzaga Confirm December Basketball Matchup in Portland

The Gonzaga Bulldogs and Oregon Ducks men's basketball teams will face off in a highly anticipated nonconference game on December 21 at Portland's Moda Center, marking their first standalone matchup since 1984. This game, dubbed the Northwest Elite Showdown, will be the 27th meeting between the two Pacific Northwest programs, with Oregon historically leading the series 22-5, though Gonzaga won the last matchup in 2019 in overtime.
