Lady Gaga Releases Companion Album Harlequin

Lady Gaga is set to star as Harley Quinn in the highly anticipated film 'Joker: Folie à Deux,' opposite Joaquin Phoenix, which premieres on October 4. This sequel to the 2019 film features Gaga in a dual role, showcasing her talent in both acting and music, as it is also a musical. Alongside the film, Gaga has released a companion album titled 'Harlequin,' featuring 13 tracks that include original songs and reinterpreted classics, with one exclusive track, 'Happy Mistake.' She describes her character, Harleen Quinzel, as a complex figure embodying contradictions, which she explored deeply during filming. Gaga's creative process involved close collaboration with her team to reinvent Harley Quinn's iconic look, aiming for a fresh interpretation. Additionally, she is working on her next studio album, 'LG7,' set to launch in February 2025.
