IMD Issues Heavy Rain Alerts Across India

Meanwhile, Gangetic West Bengal is expected to see heavy rain on October 4, as rainfall continues to be active in the region despite the southwest monsoon's withdrawal. The IMD warns that the northeast monsoon may bring further precipitation to southeastern India from October to December.
