Multiple Community Health Fairs Provide Free Care, Resources Across US Cities

Several communities across the U.S. are hosting free health fairs in early August 2025 to promote wellness and provide accessible healthcare services, especially for underserved populations. In Battle Creek, the Power Up: Back to School and Better Health fair offers free screenings, school supplies, fresh produce, and entertainment to reduce barriers to care, particularly for the Black community. Community Health & Dental Care Inc. in North Coventry celebrates National Health Center Week with a health fair featuring screenings, backpack giveaways, and resources from over 35 partners. In Callaway, Florida, the fourth annual Health Fair and Car Show provided free health services, wellness education, and school supplies, with proceeds benefiting local youth sports. The Minority Health Coalition held a similar back-to-school event at the Tolson Center, offering immunizations and free backpacks. Meanwhile, Newport News hosted a two-day free clinic providing dental and vision care, including same-day prescription glasses, aiming to assist uninsured and underinsured individuals without requiring identification or insurance verification.
