Avelo Airlines Expands with New Lakeland Base

Avelo Airlines has launched a new operational base at Lakeland International Airport in Central Florida, introducing nonstop flights to four destinations: Charlotte/Concord, NC; Boston/Manchester, NH; Rochester, NY; and San Juan, Puerto Rico, with fares starting at $46. This expansion marks the airline's sixth operational base, complementing its operations at Orlando International Airport. Concurrently, Avelo began nonstop service from Rochester to Lakeland, enhancing connectivity between Rochester and Central Florida. Additionally, Avelo has started a new route from Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport to Salt Lake City, with fares starting at $41. The airline continues to expand its service from Concord-Padgett Regional Airport to Lakeland, operating twice-weekly flights. These strategic expansions aim to offer more affordable and convenient travel options across various U.S. regions.
