Severe Weather Alerts Issued for UK and India

Multiple regions in India and the UK are facing severe weather alerts due to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. In India, the India Meteorological Department has issued yellow alerts for several districts across Kerala, Karnataka, and Goa due to expected heavy rains and thunderstorms, with regions like Kerala and Goa experiencing significant rainfall due to a low-pressure system over the Arabian Sea. In the UK, flood warnings have been issued across Greater Manchester and various parts of England, with 89 alerts and 15 warnings indicating potential flooding from thunderstorms and heavy rains. Specific areas like Northumberland and Bristol are already experiencing severe flooding, resulting in road closures and travel disruptions.
