Jamaica Seeks $2 Million for Youth Table Tennis Teams

The Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA) and the Kingston & St Andrew Table Tennis Association are urgently seeking financial support to send national youth teams to the Caribbean Regional Table Tennis Championship in Barbados, facing a $2 million shortfall for travel and accommodation. To raise funds and awareness, they launched the 'mismatched shoe campaign,' encouraging the public to wear mismatched shoes, participate at Emancipation Park, and contribute via donations and social media. While support from government and sports organizations has been received, JTTA President Ingrid Graham emphasized that today's turnout and continued public participation are crucial to meeting their funding goal.
