The city was also honored as the Most Promising Muslim-Friendly Destination of the Year, reflecting its strong commitment to providing halal-certified services, prayer facilities, and culturally sensitive experiences. Key achievements include top rankings in Muslim-friendly accessible travel and Muslim women-friendly travel categories, alongside accolades for local hotels and attractions such as The Mira Hong Kong and Ngong Ping 360. These advancements are backed by significant investments in infrastructure, with 61 hotels accredited and 153 restaurants halal-certified, underlining the city’s strategic push to diversify its tourism market. Growth in Muslim arrivals worldwide and evolving traveler preferences, including digital innovation and inclusivity, position Hong Kong to capitalize further on this expanding market.
