Praveen Someshwar Appointed CEO of Diageo India

Diageo India has announced the appointment of Praveen Someshwar as CEO-Designate, set to take over from Hina Nagarajan on March 1, 2025. Nagarajan, who has led the company for four years, will move to a position on Diageo's Global Executive Committee, leaving behind a legacy of significant growth and market capitalization exceeding INR 1 trillion (~$12.5 billion). Someshwar, previously MD and CEO of HT Media and with over 24 years of experience at PepsiCo, is expected to guide Diageo India into its next growth phase.
