5 Injured Including 2 Students in Bethlehem Township School Bus Crash
A school bus carrying special needs students collided with a stopped vehicle at the intersection of Freemansburg Avenue and Washington Street in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania, resulting in five people being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Among those injured were two student passengers on the bus, a bus aide, the bus driver, and the driver of the other vehicle. The bus, operated by Colonial Intermediate Unit 20, was traveling westbound when it struck the rear of the car waiting to make a left turn. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and required towing from the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash, which occurred around 4:30 to 4:35 p.m. The road has since reopened following the incident.
